Extra Credit

Students will have the option of raising their grade on several occasions during the year with extra credit opportunities.

Here, you will find detailed, explicit instructions on what to do, how to submit them, what they count for and when they are expected to be in.

All projects must be typed, (no hand-written submissions will be accepted).  Students may earn up to a maximum of 20 points per marking period for their projects.  Know that just because you submit one project doesn't mean that you will receive all 20 points, so you may do as many projects as you wish to reach your maximum point earnings.  Also remember that no one assignment may have more than 100 points unless you've earned extra credit at the time of the assessment.

Projects are due no later than one week before the end of the marking period that you wish to earn your points on.  If a project is submitted after that period of time, it may be used for the following marking period.  See Mr. Eckersley for special permission on due dates if necessary.

All extra credit must be in before the end of the marking period that it is intended to be used in regardless if the student is absent for any reason at all.
